Waverly Wool HANK (Colors 1191-2085)

This 100% wool yarn is ideal for needlepoint. The plies can easily be separated to cover the different sizes of canvas. One strand of the three ply yarn will nicely cover a 13-count canvas, use two plies for 10-count canvas, and all three plies for 8-count canvas.  The larger skeins are great for backgrounds, and we will assume if you order multiple skeins, you are doing a background and send matching dye lots.  We do not have most of these colors in stock in the large hanks, but can obtain them quickly from the manufacturer.  We do stock all colors in the small skeins.  Each hank is approximately 164 yards.  

Although this product is designed expressly for needlepoint, it is also a wonderful knitting yarn. It knits at 3  stitches per inch on size 10 needles.
